I’ve just discovered that the Web is 16 years old today!
According to Slashdot and the W3.org timeline, the first world-wide web page was fired up at CERN around 16 years ago, with the least recently modified web page they know of last altered on Tue, 13 Nov 1990 15:17:00 GMT.
So, as near as we can tell, it’s party time! You can use it as an excuse this weekend. ;o)
