It’s been quiet around here recently, I must admit. Plenty has been going on in the background, but now with the nights drawing in it’s apparent that things around here need some sprucing up!
The first thing I’m going to do is get a simple Textpattern ‘Getting Started’ tutorial out, which I started some time ago but never got a chance to finish. If you know your way around TXP it won’t be a great deal of use, but if you’re just starting out it might just help you get to grips with the article, template and form goodness.
The eagle-eyed of you will also know that TXP v4.0.4 is on the horizon, with a whole raft of fixes and tweaks that really belie the teeny version number increment. Coming soon to a squishy blue pixel near you.
I’ve got a few words to say on the topic of Xara’s wonderful Xtreme vector graphics app for Linux too, but that can wait for now. Hopefully all this will prevent normal service from being resumed too quickly. ;o)
Looking forward to it!
For the eagle-eyed, Textpattern 4.0.4 came out today! Different Pixel is up and running with it now – I can’t see any leaks in the boat, so I think it’s been another easy update. :o)
